Why Goat Milk?
Our soap is made with 100% unprocessed, raw goat milk. Goat milk is beneficial for people with sensitive or dry skin and those with conditions such as eczema or psoriasis.
The high fat molecule and potassium content makes goat milk extremely moisturizing. Goat milk also contains alpha-hydroxy acids such as lactic acid which helps remove dead skin cells from your skins surface. The magnesium in goat milk helps to soothe irritated skin by breaking down the old skin cells and encourages new skin cell growth leaving a regenerative, brightened complexion.
Goat milk contains vitamins B, C & D, however; it is especially high in vitamin A, which is necessary to repair damaged skin tissue and maintain healthy skin. Studies have shown that vitamin A has been known to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and can improve your overall skin health.

Mixed Essentials is all about using healthy ingredients in our products. The ingredients are listed under each product description on the website.
All of our products are handmade in the same soap kitchen. Our equipment is cleaned after each product is made. While, we do not use peanut oil in any of our products, be aware that peanut products may be found in some of the food items in our soap kitchen.

Why Doesn't My Soap Last As Long As Other Soap?
Soaps like Dove & Irish Spring have chemicals in them that make them last longer. Because of the added moisturizing oils, natural soap dissolves more rapidly in water. Do not leave the soap sitting in a pool of water in the shower. You may want to invest in a soap dish with a rack or just keep it in the driest place in the shower when not using it.
Do you Take Custom Orders?
Absolutely!! Custom loaves of soap take about 6 weeks to cure. All other products can be done relatively quickly within a few days to a week or so. Contact me directly and we discuss your needs. See the home page for some of the custom orders we have done.
